Youth dies after accidental drowning at MCC swimming pool

Mangaluru, Mar 25, 2019: A 19 year old youth who had been to the Mangala Swimming Pool of the MCC to learn swimming along with four to five of his friends, died after he accidentally drowned on  March 24, Sunday evening.

 

The deceased  is Yajnesh (19). Sources said  the youth had resorted to a dive   resulting in the tragedy. It is also stated that the youth were swimming in an area of six feet depth though they were supposed to swim in an area of five feet water.

Swimming Pool authorities said the youth was immediately given first aid and then shifted to hospital by his friends. His life however could not be saved.
