Youth crushed to death by tempo near Karnad

Mangaluru, Nov 25, 2015 :  A freak mishap  at Manampady near Karnad in Mulki Police Station limits on November 24, Tuesday claimed the life of 21 year old Fahim Sheikh  of Haleyangady.

 

Fahim  who worked for Pinky Catering and Arrangers  at Haleyangady was  returning  in the tempo after putting up metal sheets pandal for a function at Kempugudde near Mulki. It is said Fahim was at the rear of the tempo along with the goods when the tempo’s tyre suddenly got stuck in the  slushy area. Sensing trouble, Fahim jumped out of the auto, but to his misfortune, the  tempo toppled over him  resulting in serious injuries to him.

Though he was immediately rushed to the nearby Srinivas Hospital at Mukka, he breathed his last on way. Fahim was the son of Bashir Saheb, a resident of Indiranagar.

A case has been registered by Mulki police.
