Youth arrested on charges of hacking grandfather to death

 Karkala, Dec 26, 2013:  The Karkala Rural SI  has arrested  a young man who had brutally hacked his grandfather to death  recently. The arrested is Ravi Jain of Renjala.

He had reportedly killed his grandfather Nemiraja Poovani by hitting his head with a wooden club on December 21 at around 8.30 pm  just because the latter tried to give him a piece of advice.

The seriously injured Nemiraja though was rushed to AJ Hospital in Mangalore, he succumbed there.

Ravi had also attacked his  aunt Sujatha and  injured her when she tried to prevent  him.

The accused has been produced before the court and remanded to judicial custody.
