Youth arrested minutes after he stoned Thokkottu mosque

Mangaluru, Mar 18, 2017 : A person named Sagar, said to be a drug addict was caught hold of minutes after he pelted stones at the Thokkottu mosque on March 17, Friday night.

Sources revealed that Sagar who reached the mosque through the nearby under bridge pelted stones and escaped. The religious head of the mosque who saw him running, immediately informed locals who chased him and handed him over to the police after duly thrashing him.

It has been gathered that  the accused had ganja and stones with him.Three window panes of the  mosque were shattered in the stoning.

Ullal police have registered a case and are conducting investigations.
