Youth arrested for attempting to sell banned drug MDMA

Mangaluru, Feb 28, 2019: CCB Police have arrested a youth from Chokkabettu on the charges of  attempting to sell a banned drug called MDMA. The arrested person is Muhammad Shafique (21).

The banned drug weighing 60 grams and costing Rs 1.8 lakh has been seized from him  apart from a mobile phone.

The arrest followed a tip off that the accused who had purchased MDMA in Mumbai had planned to sell it in Mangaluru. He has been handed over to Suratkal Police for further questioning.
