Youth Congress election results declared

Mangaluru, May 18, 2017: The  results of the Youth Congress president elections in 18 assembly constituency  limits  have been declared. The counting of votes was held on May 18, Thursday.

 

The winners are : Merryl Rego (Mangaluru South), Girish Alva( Mangaluru North),  Rauf Derlakatte (Ullal), Prashanth Kumar (Bantwal),  Tausif (Puttur), Sadiq (Sullia), Chandra Sanil (Moodbidri), Abinanan (Belthangady).

The counting of votes was held amid tight police security in the wake of the recent clashes among Youth Congress members.
