Youth Congress President organize ‘Pili Nalike 3’

Mangaluru, Oct 08, 2016: Mangaluru Dasara is incomplete without Pili Vesha which is a part of their culture and tradition. Youth Congress President of Mangaluru organize “Pili Nlike 3’ on October 10, Sunday at volleyball court near Mannagudde .

 

A district-level Pili Vesha competition will be hosted to provide a platform for all the teams and win lakhs in prize. Teams comprising around 15 persons in traditional tiger costumes will dance to the tunes of tase, exhibiting skills. While the best team will bag not only the trophy, but also cash prize of Rs 2 lakh. Each team participating will be awarded Rs 20,000 cash. Besides, awards worth several thousands of rupees await best individual performers too.

The main objective of organizing was on the part of a historical significance. It is an effort to encourage nd also keeps the tradition alive for next generations.
