Young woman who attempted suicide dies in hospital

Kadaba, Nov 27, 2019:  A young woman from Kadaba who had reportedly attempted suicide by consuming poison, passed away  at a private  hospital in Mangaluru on Wednesday after she failed to respond to treatment.

The deceased is Savitha, daughter of Sridhar Gowda of Harimajalu in Noojibaltila village of Kadaba taluk. She had consumed poison on Tuesday night and was admitted to the hospital in a critical state.

The reason behind the suicide is not known.
