Young scooterist dies in road mishap

Mangaluru, Dec 29, 2017: A young scooterist has lost his life in a tragic road mishap a Kaikamba near Katipalla on December  28, Thursday evening.

The deceased is Wilson D’Souza (28) from Katipalla. He was  on  way to a  friend’s hotel at Katipalla after purchasing a tube light to be installed there, when  he fell off his scooter and died on the spot.

It is said Wilson applied sudden brake in order to avoid hitting an elderly man who was crossing the road, but in the process lost control over his vehicle. He was employed in Bahrain and had come  hometown on a vacation.
