Young man who recovered from Dengue dies of brain infection

Mangaluru, Sep 17, 2019: A 30 year old person named Chandrakanth from Ballalbagh who had recently suffered from Dengue fever has died at a private hospital in Mangaluru on September 16, Monday due to   rhinocerebral mucormycosis, a rare infection of the brain.

 Chandrakanth was admitted to a private hospital 15 days ago for treatment of fever. Though he fully recovered and was  discharged from the hospital, he suffered from a new health problem resulting in his death.
