Young lawyer dies in road mishap near Puttur

Mangaluru, April 1, 2018: A young woman who was practising as a junior lawyer under an advocate in Mangaluru,  has  lost her life in an accident involving a Maruti WagonR and a KSRTC  bus at Sampya near Puttur on March 31, Saturday afternoon.

The deceased woman is Gayatri (23). She was travelling in the WagonR which was driven by Yogish who too has sustained injuries in the mishap.

According to the  bus driver Shekhar, the car was proceeding at great speed and recklessly. It is learnt it hit the bus in a bid to overtake other vehicles.

Gayatri who was critically injured in the mishap died later in the evening at a private hospital. She was the daughter of  Jinnappa Gowda from Kantramajalu in Kula village of Bantwal taluk.  She was practising under advocate Prithviraj Rai.
