Young lady found dead, rape, murder suspected

Manipal, Mar 12 2019: The lifeless body of an unidentified  young woman  was found near Sagri in Manipal on  March 10. It is thought that she may have been raped and murdered.

 

A woman found the corpse said to be aged between 18-25 years, beside the railway track and brought it to the notice of public. The body was found half-naked and there is suspicion that she might have been subjected to sexual assault and then murdered.

The location has been visited by SP Nisha James and Manipal police.

Further investigations are in progress and details are awaited.
