Young housewife commits suicide

Kasargod, June 08, 2020:   A young married woman has reportedly ended her life by hanging herself in her husband’s house at   Puthgebail in Puttige Panchayat limits near Kumble. The woman identified as Ranjitha (24)  had as usual retired to bed last night with her three year old son. However, she was found hanging  on Monday morning.

Ranjitha  who was the daughter of Ratnavathi-Vishwanath Rai couple from Anaje in Bettampady of Puttur taluk was given in marriage four years ago. Her husband is employed in Mumbai and  had  visited the family three months ago.

The reason behind her extreme step is not known.
