Yettinahole: NRSS to exhibit Black flag to Sadananda Gowda and Veerappa Moily

Mangaluru June 7, 2016: Nethravathi Samrakshana Samyuktha Samithi to exhibit “Black Flag” to Central Law Minister Sadananada Gowda and Chikkballapur MP Veerappa Moily on June 11th at Town Hall to intensify protest against Yettinahole Project, said President of Nethravathi Samrakshana Samyuktha Samithi  Vijay Kumar Shetty . Veerappa Moily and Sadananada Gowda are likely to take part in a private function at Town Hall on June 11th.

Addressing to the Press meet at Hotel Janatha Delux today Tueday June 7, Vijay Kumar Shetty alleged that, Sadananada Gowda and Veerappa Moily are directly involved and itching to implement Yettinahole Project. It was a threat call by Veerappa Moily for the people of coastal region by saying project will be completed by 2018. We should not allow Moily and Sadananada Gowda to enter in Dakshina Kannada, he added.


He also said that, the yettinahole project will not give any water to Kolar, but this project only serves for making deals between politicians and not to provide water to Kolar.

He also said that, Green Tribunal passed the judgement of this case to the Environment expert Nagendran who resigned from the post recently. Newly appointed Environment Expert Jyothilingam demanded for re-hearing of the case, if the appeal is accepted by the tribunal then it will extend up to two more years.

Activists MG Hegde blamed Neeravari nigam as it the fund raising department for the government. This project will provide lot of money to the government . MG Hegde challenged Veerappa Moily and Sadananda Gowda to contest from Dakshina Kannada.
