Yeddy politicised Karthik Raj murder, must apologize: Khader

Mangaluru, April 30, 2017: State Minister for Food and Civil Supplies U T Khader has demanded apology from State BJP Chief BS Yeddyurappa for  politicising the Karthik Raj murder case, now that all the accused are behind bars.

Speaking to reporters here on April 30, Sunday Khader recalled how  Yeddyurappa during his visit to Karthik Raj residence some time back  had alleged  that the murder was part of a conspiracy by an organisation aimed at disrupting peace.

He also alleged that a few organisations had made an attempt to give a communal twist to the case. He wanted to know why the local police could not gather clues about the killers, while the special investigation team constituted by the Commissioner could so.

He also congratulated the DK Police for zeroing in on the accused in the case of murder of Karopady GP Vice President Jaleel Karopady.

Mithun Rai, District Youth Congress President, Mamatha Gatty and others were present.
