Yeddurappa acquitted in graft case, celebrations erupt in Mangaluru

Mangaluru, Oct 26, 2016 : Workers of the Bharatiya Janata Party  celebrated the CBI court’s verdict relieving former Chief Minister B.S. Yeddyurappa of corruption charges  on October 26, Wednesday.

 

As the court pronounced the judgment in Bengaluru, BJP leaders gathered in front Circuit House in Mangaluru by  bursting crackers and offering sweets . The workers raised slogans praising Mr. Yeddyurappa and said the allegations against him were politically motivated. They also distributed sweets among the public on the occasion.
