Males and females in all veshas (costumes), thrilled those present. Artistes from many teams and two women troupes, presented assorted episodes. Most of the competitors said they had been practicing for about three months now. Many were involved with this beautiful local art for years.

Appreciating the competition most felt it  provided a good platform for many amateur troupes from rural and semi-urban areas to perform in Mangalore. This would enhance the skill and commitment of the artists and the future interests too.
