Writer Bhuvaneshwari Hegde warmly felicitated

Mangaluru, June 4, 2017:  Writers come closer to their readers when their writings and their personality match with each other, Bhuvaneshwari Hegde is one such writer,  said retired professor and eminent writer Chandrakala Nandavar.

She was delivering the felicitation address at a public felicitation function organised  for noted humour writer Bhuvaneshwari Hegde who is retiring from service. The function held at Mallikatte Lions Seva Mandir was organised  on behalf of her students, admirers and  Bhuvaneshwari Hegde Abhinandana Samithi.

A felicitation volume "Banasiri’ brought out   in honour of Bhuvaneshwari Hegde was released by Aparanji Editor M Shivakumar.

Kendra Sahitya Academy Award winning writer Vaidehi presided over the function.  Bhuvaneshwari Hegde couple were felicitated on the occasion.

In her address, Bhuvaneshwari Hegde said readers who read and appreciate her work are her greatest assets.

Retired Professor Dr Satyanarayana Mallipatna, Land Trades Proprietor and Felicitation Committee member K Shrinath Hebbar, Committee President Arehole Sadashiva Rao and others were present.
