Workers stranded at Lakshadweep brought back safely

Mangaluru, May 28, 2020:   A total of 19 workers who were stranded in Lakshadweep island since the past two and a half months due to lockdown, were  brought  to Mangaluru safely by a vessel named ’Amindivi’ on Thursday.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Soon after the vessel arrived at the old port, all workers were subject to health screening. Local elected representatives as well as family members of the workers were present.
