Worker’s body found, police suspect suicide

Mangalore, Sep 22, 2014: The body of a construction worker was found in a lake at Deralakatte here on Sunday morning. According to the Ullal Police, S. Krishna Reddy (24), from Guntur district in Andhra Pradesh who had joined the crew at the Karnataka Housing Board site just 15 days ago, had flung himself into the lake. He was last seen leaving the construction site on Saturday evening. Police are unsure of the motive for the suicide.
