Work begins for Tata Group’s Covid-19 hospital in Kasargod district

Kasargod, April 13, 2020:  The construction works of the Covid-19 speciality hospital  which the Tata Group  has promised to build  at Thekkil village in Chemnad Panchayat of Kasargod district, has commenced. Presently the  ground levelling work is underway.

 

The works commenced in the presence of Deputy Commissioner Dr D Sajith Babu and other officials. The Hospital will come up on a five acre land close by the Malabar Islamic College at Chattanchal. The hospital will have 540 bed isolation wards,  ICU and other facilities. Once the construction is complete, it will be handed over to the government by the Tata Group.

The construction is expected to complete within one and a half months.
