Women’s Commission apprised of Puttur gang rape case : Khader

Mangaluru, July 05, 2019: DK District in-charge Minister UT Khader has said that  he has  spoken to the  senior police officials as well as the Chairperson of Karnataka Women’s Commission  Nagalakshmi  with regard to the gang rape case reported from Puttur.

He also took strong exception to the  act of a few in  posting the video of the  incident on social media and  demanded that the perpetrators of the crime as well as those who circulated the  video should be brought to justice.

He also went on to state that the incident has marred the reputation of the district.
