Woman run over by train near Ullal

Mangalore, July 26, 2014: A woman hailing from Bailu near Someshwar met a tragic end when she was run over by a train near the Ullal Railway junction on July 26, Saturday.

 

 

 

 

 

 

The woman identified as Lalitha (42), wife of Subhash was crossing the track  to catch a bus at Adka on  way to a hotel in Mangalore where she was working.

It is learnt, a train heading towards the city from Kannur knocked down Lalitha and tossed her body as far as 500 meters.

The woman has left behind her husband, a son and daughter. Railway police have registered a case.
