Woman of Haryana origin accuses Kerala cops of gang raping her

Mangaluru, Jan 7, 2016 :   A woman  of Haryana origin who  was under the care of an orphanage at Payyanur in Kerala was allegedly gang raped by  police personnel from Kerala. It is said the woman who was found abandoned near the Haradi railway bridge in Puttur taluk on January 5, Tuesday night in an unconscious state, was admitted to the Puttur government hospital. Sources said the woman revealed to the doctors that she was gang raped.

It has also been gathered that the woman who refused to co-operate with the doctors treating her was later shifted to the Lady Goschen Hospital in Mangaluru in a 108 Ambulance. However, she reportedly fled from the hospital.

 The Bunder police have registered a case and are investigating. It is not yet sure as where the woman was gang raped.
