Woman loses gold chain to snatchers in Kulai

Mangaluru: August 31, 2015: In a yet another case, a woman from Kerkadu lost her expensive gold chain after two bike-borne miscreants snatched from her neck near Kulai.

The incident took place when Janaki, who rolls bidis for income was going home after meeting daughter towards a collection centre in Kulai on Sunday morning.

The two guys who arrived in a bike asked her the way to Kana, as she was replying to their query, the rider snatched her chain which she had wore and escaped from the spot to Kuli-Kana road.

The woman has noted the registration number of the bike and registered a complaint at the suratkal police station.

The police have taken up the investigation
