Woman dies of Snake bite in Udupi

Udupi: August 8, 2015: A 38-year-old woman died after being bitten by a snake outside her house in Yellur Village in Udupi district.

A Cobra bit Meenakshi’s leg when she was out on Thursday night. She was rushed to a hospital in Udupi.

Her condition was severely getting worse after the incident and was unconscious when taken to thehospital. Her blood pressure was falling rapidly said Doctor. Though the doctors tried their best to save her life. Her condition did not improve and she died on Friday.

A case has been registered at Padubidri police station.
