Woman dies in wild boar attack in Badiadka

Kasargod, Feb 14, 2015: A woman   from  Badiadka  lost her life  after a wild boar attacked  her outside her house on February 13, Friday morning.

The deceased is Ayesha (55), wife of the late Abdul Rahiman. Eyewitnesses said the boar pounced on her as soon as she came out of the house. Though Ayesha’s son chased the boar away, it had caused grievous injuries to his mother by then.

Ayesha who was initially taken to a hospital in Badiadka was later rushed to a hospital in Mangaluru. However she succumbed on way.

It is learnt, the boar after attacking Ayesha  also  pounced on a buffalo and injured it seriously. When it was finally driven away it entered a nearby forest area.
