Woman cheated, sexually assaulted in Moodabidri

Moodabidri: July 16, 2015: The police on arrested a Man for cheating woman in the name of Marriage and sexually assaulting her in Moodabidri.

The accused has been identified as Sathish, a resident of Moodbidri.

It is learnt that Sathish fell in love with the woman and promised to marry her and allegedly sexually assaulted her.

It is said that, the victim learnt that Sathish was already married to other girl in the month of June. She lodged a complaint against Satish at the local police station.

Soon Sathish went absconding. The police began their search and arrested Sathish.

He has been produced before the court and has been sent to Judicial custody for 15 days.
