With driver talking over cell phone, car almost lands in drain

Mangalore , July 5, 2013:  The driver of a car and three other passengers had a  close shave when the car almost landed on a drain-thanks to the driver who was holding the steering on one hand and   his cell phone on the other hand, busy speaking to someone.

 

The incident took place near  Pumpwell on July 4, Thursday evening, when the driver of a Maruti Ritz was trying to park the vehicle outside a hospital when  the car went out of control, veered to the left and move over a drain.

Luckily neither he nor the three other passengers were hurt. Later, the four  got the car  to safety. Had the car moved even a little further then certainly those in the car would have sustained injuries.
