Will wage legal battle against Kalladka Prabhaker Bhat: A C Vinayraj

Mangaluru, Apr 07, 2018: Corporator and advocate A C Vinayraj has said that a legal war would be waged against senior RSS leader Kalladka Prabhaker Bhat who has made defamatory statement regarding State Minister U T Khader who has earned a good name through his pro-people approach.

 

Speaking to reporters at the Congress Office here on April 7, Saturday he said Kalladka Prabhaker Bhat has insulted Khader by addressing him in singular. He said there were plans to plead before the court to cancel the bail granted to Kalladka Prabhaker Bhat in some cases after gathering information in this regard. His statement when the election code of conduct is in force is also a violation of the same. Therefore a complaint would be lodged with the Deputy Commissioner and Election Commission, he stated.

He accused the local MP of failing to draw the attention of the Centre towards the problems faced by areca and rubber growers due to slump in prices. The Centre has also failed to fulfil its assurance to provide support price for areca, he alleged.

The Union Government which has been stating that it would implement a law banning cattle slaughter in the state has failed to take steps in this regard but is inciting the feelings of the people on the issue.

Congress leaders Neeraj Pal, Nazeer Bajal, Shobha and Mithun were present.
