Will file defamation suit against BJP leaders, says Corporator Pratibha Kulai

Mangaluru, Apr 04 2018: Hosabettu ward Corporator Pratibha Kulai has said that she would be filing  defamation suit against Union Minister Ravishanker Prasad, State BJP Chief B S Yeddyurappa and Udupi-Chikkamagaluru MP Shobha Karandlaje for misusing her photo in the party’s charge sheet against the State Government.

 

Speaking to reporters here on April 4, Tuesday,  Pratibha said a party which was so irresponsible should not be  elected.  She also stated that she would decide on the amount to be demanded as damages after consulting her lawyer.

To a question if the party has apologized for wrongly using her photograph, Pratibha replied in the negative. When the BJP has failed to ensure  its  charge sheet was free from defects, how can one expect good governance from such a  party?, she questioned.

Pratibha had earlier lodged a complaint with City Police Commissioner on the issue of the BJP misusing her photo.
