Wilfy’s final journey today

Mangalore, March 10: The funeral ceremony of Konkani singing legend, Wilfy Rebimbus will take place on March 11, 2010 at St Joseph’s parish, Jeppu.
The body of Wilfy Rebimbus would be brought directly from Fr Muller ’s hospital to Jeppu Seminary ground at 2.00pm on March 11. The mortal remains of Wilfy will be kept for public viewing from 2.00 pm to 4.00 pm.
The Funeral mass will begin at 4.00 pm in the presence of Bishop Aloysius Paul D’Souza. Fr Victor Machado of Jeppu Seminary will deliver homily.
There will be brief condolence speeches from Fr Denis D’Sa, Dr Edward Nazareth and Leslie Rego, followed by burial at Jeppu church cemetery, after the mass.
