We must fight unitedly to secure official language status for Tulu: MP Nalin

Mangalore, Oct 31, 2014: There is a need for each and every citizen of Tulunad including political leaders to sink all differences   to fight for the cause of securing Tulu language its due  recognition and status of the official language of the state, said Nalin Kumar Kateel, MP.

He was speaking at a meet convened here to discuss the arrangements being made for the proposed Vishwa Tuluvere Parba -2014  to be held at Sahyadri College at Adyar under the aegis of Akhila Bharatha Tulu Okkoota and Karnataka Tulu Sahitya Academy.

 AC Bhandari, Damodar Nisarga, Adyar Mahabala Shetty, Dr Kishore Kumar Rai and others participated in the deliberations.

Kadri Navaneeth Shety, Principal Convenor gave details on the Tulu Parba programmes.

Tulu Sahitya Academy President Janaki Brahmavar presided over the meeting.
