Wastage of water at pump house near Town Hall irks locals

Mangaluru, May 28, 2016 : In a startling case of wastage of water at a time when the city was just recovering from a major water crisis, water  from a  pump house near Town Hall was flowing waste  in the Town Hall premises on May 27, Friday.

 

Locals, particularly people of Kanduka Port ward who  have not been receiving  tap water since several days, were angry to see the wastage of water at the  pump house. They were particularly agitated as none of the staff were present at  the pump house. Even efforts to contact the local corporator went in vain.

Locals are now seeking action against all those responsible for this wastage of water.
