Vittal: Two bikes collide head-on: Riders dead

Vittal, Jan 15, 2020:   A head-on collision between two bikes has claimed the lives of the young riders of both the vehicles, while another person sustained injuries in the mishap which took place on the  Peraje Mutt curve on Maani Mysuru Highway on January 14, Tuesday night.

 

The deceased are Muhammad Ajmal (19), son of Karim of Kalladka and Parikshit (19), son of Monappa  Poojary of Maani.  Parikshith  was a student of a college in Puttur. Padmanabha Gowda (28) who was pillion riding the bike was  injured critically.

Parikshit and Padmanabha were on way to Maani while Ajmal was   heading towards Kodaje in his Activa. It is said  a dog came in the way of the two vehicles resulting  in the mishap.

Vittal Police have registered a case.
