Vittal : Fraudster who duped several of crores trapped by public

Vittal, Dec 2, 2016 : Residents of Vittal have succeeded in trapping a person named Purandar (40) who has been accused of cheating several to the tune of Rs 3.5 crores through chit fund business.

The accused  who is the husband of a member of Vittal Town Panchayat was running a  non-vegetarian hotel in the town and had slowly moved to chit fund  business in the  name of as many as 35 persons.

It is said he secured the chit fund money in  his own name and had cheated many.

Meanwhile, as many began to demand their money back,  Purandar fell ill, got himself hospitalised and   even closed down his hotel. On Thursday locals trapped him when he was spotted    transporting some   goods from  his closed hotel.
