Vishweshwaraiah Award conferred on Akashavani’s Sadananda Perla

Mangaluru, Aug 3,2017 :  Dr Sadananda Perla, Programme Co-ordinator of Mangaluru Akashavani has been conferred the State level Vishweshwaraiah Literary Award given by Bharata Ratna Sir M Vishweshwaraiah Pratishtana of Bengaluru.

Former minister Ramachandra Gowda and Pratishtana President Ramesh Surve conferred the Award on Dr Perla at a function held at Pulakeshi Rangamandir in Bengaluru.

Dr Chennanna Valikara,  Chairman  of the 8th All Karnataka Children’s Literary and Cultural Fest,   Athani Shivayogishwara Swamiji, Chandrakantha Bellada and others were present.

Dr Sadananda Perla who has authored several literary works  has also been instrumental in presenting novel programmes to listeners through Akashavani since the past 23 years. He was also conferred Urs Award in connect ion with the birth centenary of former CM Devaraj Urs.
