Vinayak Baliga family to file plea again for narco analysis test of accused Naresh Shenoy

Mangaluru, Oct 31, 2018: The family of the slain RTI activist Vinayak Baliga  has decided to file a  review petition  with regard to its  plea to  conduct a narco analysis test of  Naresh Shenoy, the prime accused in the case.

Supreme Court advocate  Ravindra Kamath who is the legal counsel of the Baliga family  has said that this review petition is essential to bring out the truth in the case.

Meanwhile,  eminent rationalist Prof Narendra Nayak who has been  strongly supporting the Vinayak Baliga family in its fight for justice has questioned why  the accused who have been stating that they have not erred, fear  narco analysis test. He said it has been decided to file a petition again seeking narco analysis test and pointed out that  case has not been thoroughly probed. He also stressed the need to convince the judiciary of the need for a re-probe into the case.

Vinayak Baliga was brutally hacked to death right near his residence  close by Kalakunj during the wee hours of March 21, 2016.
