Vinay Kumar Sorake files nomination from Kaup; visits shrines

Udupi, Apr 23, 2018: Congress candidate from Kaup constituency Vinay Kumar Sorake, on April 23, Monday  filed his nomination papers for the upcoming Assembly  elections.

 

Sorake was accompanied by Kaup Block Congress President Naveenchandra Shetty,  MLC Ivan D’Souza, Pangala Harish Shetty, Wilson Rodrigues and others.

Speaking to reporters later, Sorake said Congress President Rahul Gandhi as well as Priyanka  Gandhi will campaign in the district.

Earlier, he visited the Sri Manjunatha Swami Temple at Kadri, Nagabrahma Sthana at Padubidri, Janardhana Temple and Marigudi at Kaup and the mosque at Kaup Polipu and offered his prayers. He even visited the Sri Venkatramana temple at Kaup, Sri Vishwanatha Temple at Katapady and Basel Mission Church.
