Vikas Pre-University College conducts ‘Tree Plantation-2018’

Mangaluru, Dec 22, 2018: With the mission to bring an awareness of clean and green nature, Vikas Pre-University College, Mangaluru, has conducted ‘Tree Plantation-2018’ programme at Noble School, Kunjathbail, Mangaluru, on Saturday, 22nd December 2018.

It was part of the innovative initiation of Vikas Pre-University College to protect forest which was inaugurated on 1st December 2018 by Sri. J. Krishna Palemar, former minister and the Chairman of Vikas Group of Institutions.


Mr. Gopalkrishna Bhat, Headmaster, Mrs. Shreesha, Deputy Headmistress, and students of Noble School, planted the saplings along with Chief Guest of the programme Mr. Manohar Concessao, HOD, Mathematics Department, and coordinator of the programme Mr. Laxmisha Bhat, HOD, Sanskrit Department, Vikas PU College.  Tree planting is carried out in order to maintain the ecological balance and it is the answer to the large-scale destruction of forests.
