Video released by Kumaraswamy 100 % authentic, claims District JD(S) Chief

Mangaluru, Jan 13, 2020:  The video clips of the  violence that took place during the December 19 anti-CAB protest  in Mangaluru, which were released by former CM H D Kumaraswamy  are 100% authentic and the statements of the  City Police Commissioner P S Harsha that the videos are selective and incomplete are not right, said JD(S) District unit President Muhammad Kunhi.

 

He was addressing a press meet in the city on January 13, Monday.  Kunhi also demanded a judicial probe regarding the same if there were doubts.

He alleged that the state government was misleading the public with regard to the case. Kunhi clarified that the  JD(S) was not resorting to any  politics and that the party  has no intention of reaping political gains out of the issue.

He said inspector Govindaraju had initially hesitated to permit today’s  press meet  and added that the press meet was allowed after the  party convinced the Police Commissioner.
