Video of MLA Bava abusing KIADB officer goes viral

 Mangaluru, feb 3, 2017 : Mangaluru North MLA  B A Moidin Bava is in the eye of a storm after a video showing him taking an officer to task and abusing the latter has gone viral.

In the video the MLA is seen  reprimanding the KIADB officer Prakash and also addressing him in singular with regard to the delay in a work and alleged lackadaisical approach on the part of the  officer.

The video also shows the MLA asking the officer to stand up saying " Eddu Nillu, Eddu Nillu’’ as the officer tried to sit on a chair in front of the MLA.

MLA clarifies : The MLA who later clarified  on the issue said so -"I have not reprimanded the KIADB officer.   He had sent  out the people who had approached him  by saying  ’get out.’ As people had  complained to me  I had visited the office and had tried to cool down the situation."
