Vehicle smuggling drugs meets with accident ; 10 kg ganja seized

Manjeshwar, July 08, 2020:    Manjeshwar police have seized 10 kg ganja from a vehicle which met with an accident after trying to flee without stopping despite being signalled to stop by the police at Battippadavu. The police had to give the vehicle a hot chase. However  the driver lost control over the vehicle resulting in the mishap.

 

One person has been arrested in this connection. The ganja was found concealed in a gunny bag. The accused is expected to be produced before the court today.
