Varadendra Theertha Ratha accorded grand welcome at SVT, Carstreet

Mangalore, April 4, 2014 : A special  Chariot  named Varadendra Theertha Ratha  arranged to commemorate the 100th death anniversary of Srimad Varadendra Theertha Swamiji arrived at Shree Venkatramana Temple at Carstreet on April 3, Thursday.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

The Temple Trustees Balakrishna Shenoy, Padmanabha Shenoy, Jayaraj Pai and  devotees were present in large numbers on the occasion and welcomed the chariot bearing the portrait of Srimad Varadendra Theertha.

The Ratha Yatra which commenced from Kochi has been visiting the GSB community temples enroute and will travel to Udupi via Gurupur, Bajpe, Kodikal, Suratkal, Haleyangady and Mulki.
