Vajradehi seer urges for post card movement in support of Ram Mandir at Ayodhya

Mangalore, April 20, 2013:  Sri Rajashekharananda Swamiji of Gurupura Sri Vajradehi Mutt has  urged the devotees of Lord Sri Ram to launch a post card movement to prevail upon the Union Government to  see that there was a favourable environment for the construction of Sri Ram Mandir at Ayodhya.

He was speaking at a religious meet organised  on  April 19, Friday evening as part of the first day’s programme of the three-day Sri Ramotsav celebrations being held at Nehru Maidan under the joint aegis of the Vishwa Hindu Parishat, Bhajrangdal Matra Mandali, Durgavahini and Sri Ramotsava Samithi.

He said Lord Sri Rama was an ideal personality    whose spirit of sacrifice is worth emulation.  Lord Sri Ram who was never offended during his life time, the seer said adding however attempts are being made now to offend him. It is not proper to play with the sentiments of the Hindus  through attempts to destroy the Rama Sethu. Kumble Sunder Rao, former MLA and leader of Samskara Bharathi earlier inaugurated the programme.  


Raghunath Somayaji of SL Builders, Ashish Bhandary of Bhandary builders, Sudhaker Rao Pejawar of the SKDB Association.  Dr Vishnu Prabhu, Manohar Tulajaram, Shivananda Mendon, Prof. MB Puranik, Honorary President of Sri Ramotsava Samithi, Pushparaj Jain, President and others were present.
