Vajpayee- a visionary leader, says DV Sadananda Gowda

Mangalore, Dec 26, 2013: The city district unit of the BJP celebrated the birthday of senior leader and former prime minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee at the Akshaya Hall of the party’s district office on December 25, Wednesday.

 

 

 

 

 

Former CM DV Sadananda Gowda inaugurated the programme by lighting the traditional lamp. In his address, Gowda said Vajpayee was a leader with a clean image and farsighted vision.  He also spoke on the life and achievements of the senior leader  and urged the BJP men to consider the former PM as their role model.

Sanjeeva Matandoor, District BJP General Secretary, Jayaram Shetty, District Spokesperson.  Sudhir Shetty Kannur, D Vedavyasa Kamath, General Secretaries and Ravindra Kumar, Vice President and others were present.

 A workshop for party workers was also organised to coincide with the occasion.
