Mangaluru, May 5, 2015 : The Vaishya Education Society of Mangaluru organised “Naisargika Sobagu-2015” a summer camp for students studying in classes from V to X at Sri Panchalingeshwara Temple premises, Mattur, Charmady from May 1 to 3.
Eminent artist Dinesh Holla, Delhi Public School’s Art Teacher Ushadevi, cartoonist John Chandra, Venki Rao, clay artiste, Akshaya Rao, painter and Poornima Ashok Rao, Managing Director of Sri Sahara Yoga, Naturopathy and Ayurveda Centre were the resource persons.
Dinesh Holla enlightened the participants on environment conservation, cleanliness campaign and also trained hem in trekking. Usha Devi taught Kirigami paper art, mask making and drawing to the students.
John Chandra trained the students in making cartoons, while Venki taught them clay model making. Akshaya Rao taught glass painting and oil painting while Poornima Ashok Rao enlightened the students on various aspects pertaining to Pranayama, meditation,Soorya Namaskara, Yoga, culture and traditions, healthy lifestyle and food habits.
Several children actively participated in the camp and enjoyed all the programmes that benefitted them in a great way.
