VHP organises blood donation camp to commemorate golden jubilee

Mangaluru, Nov 2, 2014: Dharmasthala Dharmadhikari Dr D Veerendra Heggade inaugurated a Blood Donation Camp  organised at Sharada Vidyalaya here on November 2, Sunday to commemorate the golden jubilee of VHP and the 24th anniversary of firing  at Kar Sevaks in Ayodhya. The organisation plans to collect one lakh units of blood from across the nation during the day.

 

Speaking on the occasion, Dr Heggade who is also the National President of VHP Golden Jubilee Committee highlighted the importance of blood donation which can save  several lives.

Nalin Kumar Kateel, Dakshina Kannada MP was present as a chief guest.

Vivek Raj, Chairman of Panama Corporation, Pushparaj Jain, President of CREDAI-Mangalore, Dr P Vaman Shenoy, Sangha Chalak and  Jagadish Shenava, VHP District President  were among others present at the function.
