Utmost caution must be exercised during vaccination drive : DC Rajendra

Mangaluru, Jan 14, 2021:    Covid vaccines have already arrived in the district and all personnel have to discharge their duties by exercising utmost caution  in all Covid vaccination centres in the district when the vaccination drive will officially commence on January 16, said Deputy Commissioner Dr K V Rajendra.

Addressing a meeting held at his office as a prelude to the Covid-19 vaccination drive, the Deputy Commissioner said the vaccination will be held in six centres of the district. He asked the personnel  concerned to exercise utmost caution to ensure there is no confusion in those who will be vaccinated.

The Vaccination centres should have all necessary arrangements including sanitizer, thermal scanning and drinking water facility. All necessary medical equipment should also be made available and social distancing has to be strictly maintained, the DC said.
