Uppinangady man tests positive for Covid-19

Mangaluru, April 17, 2020:  A person from Uppinangady  has tested positive for Coronavirus. The 39 year old man who has a travel history to Delhi  was already on a 14 day quarantine. His first  throat swab sample  had tested  negative on April 2. However the second sample sent on April 13 has tested positive.

 

This is the 13th coronavirus case in Dakshina Kannada.  Till now,  nine Covid-19 patients have recovered and discharged  in the district. All of them  are presently in home quarantine and under strict observation.
